Armor

Our first assignment for this studio was to create a wearable armor that could assist us in our daily lives. I created an extendable arm that could be retracted when not in use. The armor was created with metal wire, string, 3d printed components and umbrella pieces.

Extension

The final stage of this studio had us design a dorm building on Woodbury’s campus that addressed the concepts from our armor. The idea of extension was applied to all aspects of the dorms design from its placement and connection to the stairwell in the building below to the furniture that had extending/sliding elements.
