Material Verbs

This project was based on Richard Serra’s Verblist and his quote that “drawing is a verb”. This assignment asked us to apply four different verbs to one material creating a total of twelve models. The following models were made of plaster and modeled with balloons, plastic bags and foil.

Seattle Public Library

The following drawing and model was created after researching the Seattle Public Library and its construction. This diagram demonstrates the multiple layers apart of the facade and shows the interior composition of the diagrid.
